The inspiration for educational knowledge by Dr. Montoya took him to form the non-profit corporation Interactive Seminars Inc., which annually develops in P.R. a series of conferences at national and international level to educate the new generation of doctors in the Oral Implants field. Presently Dr. Montoya conducts clinical investigation studies in the field of oral implantology using morphogenic proteins that work as growth factors in bone to stimulate osseous formation in patients with bone deficiency for oral reconstruction. This investigation was developed together with his brother Dr. Martin Montoya Jr., who obtained his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from the University of Virginia in 1980, in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetic Engineering. Dr. Martin Montoya Jr. is working for Harvard Medical School at the Children’s Hospital Boston on the Vascular Biology Program as researcher. These two colleagues presently conduct a scientific investigation with great possibilities for development in the field of oral medicine and dental implants.
